**Troop will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills (Pennington, NJ) on Oct 19th**

Troop, his mom and his seven siblings were all found as strays at an old convenience  store that had been closed for a few years. Troop and his siblings couldn't have been more than 2 weeks old and their eyes hadn't even opened yet at the time they were found. Someone reported seeing their mom hanging out at the old store, pregnant and in search of food, shortly before she apparently had her babies. If it weren't for a couple of very compassionate and concerned citizens, this family of dogs most likely would have remained as strays and quite possibly not have survived.

Troop is the shyest among his litter but will quickly open up once he becomes comfortable with new surroundings or people. He plays very well with other pups and would most likely benefit from being in a home with another dog. Despite his being a little shy, Troop thrives on human contact and is very affectionate. He will need all of his basic training and his adopter must be patient with him. 

Troop has received his first year puppy vaccinations, been de-wormed and treated for parasites. He's also been started on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives as well. He'll need to receive his rabies vaccination after reaching 12 weeks of age. His adopter must agree to having him neutered once he reaches 6 months of age and supplying us with verification of such.
