**Sugar will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills (Pennington, NJ) over the Sept 14-16 weekend.**

Sugar and her brother, Chaco, were found as strays by a young lady in a neighboring town. While this young lady could have simply turned the two over to her local animal control, she opted to foster the pair during her county's required "hold period, which gives the rightful owner time to reclaim them. Once that time had passed, she had the dogs signed over to her and then released them to our rescue so we could find them both new homes. 

Sugar has been well socialized towards people and gets along great with other dogs. While at her foster home, which included other dogs, she was also around a young child and spent time living indoors. She did very well on her house training but will need additional work to become fully trained. She already walks very well on a leash and seems to also do well when traveling in a car.

Sugar has now been fully vetted and started on her monthly preventatives. She is very healthy and happy, making her a great candidate as a family companion.
