**Benny will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills (Pennington, NJ) over the July 13-15 weekend.**

When Benny was found as a stray in a neighboring county, he was thin, hungry and in need of some TLC.Luckily, Benny found temporary refuge with a very compassionate woman who nursed him back to health until we could get him into our rescue. 

Despite having been homeless and obviously being neglected in the past, Benny is just a big bundle of friendliness! He gets along great with everyone and every dog he meets. He  shared his temporary home with other dogs, horses and young children of various ages. He's very playful and always seems to have a big smile on his face.

After we got Benny back to health and had his basic vetting completed, we embarked on a mission to have him treated for his heartworms. We're happy to report that Benny recently completed his treatments and is now heart worm free.

While his big, square head may scare a few people, you'll quickly discover just how friendly Benny is. He will make a great companion in just about any home situation.
