When we first received the call about Razzle and her litter mates being in need of rescue, we were taken back a bit by their story. It seems that this family had two pregnant female dogs deliver a total of 18 pups within days of each other. Of those 18 pups, only five ended up surviving and making their way to our rescue. All five were covered with fleas and ticks, causing them to be very anemic and weak. Despite our best efforts, one of those five didn't survive three days after coming to our rescue. Luckily Razzle, her two litter mates and one pup from the other litter are now all doing very well and are now ready to find their forever homes.

We were told that Razzle's mom was an Akita but no one had an idea of who the father was. We're not positive exactly what mix these pups are but we're definitely sure that they're all very sweet and adorable! Razzle has a wonderful personality and even though she may be a little shy at first, she quickly becomes very friendly and playful. Razzle's oversized and a bit of an under bite ears just add to her cuteness. 

Razzle is undergoing her vaccination period and has already received 2 of her 3 first year puppy vaccines (as of 6/10). She's been de-wormed, treated against parasites and started on her monthly preventatives. Razzle's adopter must agree to having her spay once she reaches 5 months of age and providing proof of such to our rescue. She will need all of her basic training but, being a smart girl, Razzle should progress very well.
