**Pilot will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills (in Pennington, NJ) over the May 3-5 weekend.**

When Pilot darted out in front of a car and almost got hit, the driver knew that he had to do something to help keep this young fellow safe. Being in a desolate area with no houses around when he was found, it's most likely that Pilot was abandoned. The driver of the car tried to locate Pilot's owner for a week or so, with no success, before asking if we could take him in.

While at his temporary home, Pilot interacted with other dogs, cats and children, doing excellent with all of them. Since coming to SoCo, he's proven to be very friendly to everyone he meets. He's a mild-mannered fellow who simply enjoys being around people. 

When he first arrived, Pilot was covered in fleas which ed to him scratching himself raw behind his right ear. We've given him a flea preventative and treated his wound but he is still missing some fur at that spot. We've also updated all of his vaccines, had him neutered and he recently tested negative for heartworms as well.
