Angel had been with her former family for most of her life and developed a special bond with the woman of the house. When the granddaughter became pregnant, the family regulated Angel to living outdoors, which didn't go well for this beautiful white Shepherd who had been accustomed to living indoors and always being near her "best friend". Angel began tearing the underpinning of the mobile home and staying under the home in an effort to be as close to her family as she could. As the due date of the baby got closer, the family decided to give her up rather than let her be a part of the family once again.

Angel is a very sweet and affectionate girl who seems to attach herself more so to women than to men. With all she's been through of late, she is a little apprehensive when first meeting people but will become accepting of them once they gain her trust. Angel was house trained at her former home, walks very well on a leash and is even somewhat crate trained.

While Angel shared her former home with another dog, she's not exactly dog friendly. While in a recent foster home, which included other dogs, Angel did end up in a couple of fights with the foster's dogs. Because of this, a home with no other dogs would be best for Angel.

We were told that Angel is 7 years old but does appear to be slightly younger. She recently tested negative for heart worms, has had her vaccinations update and has been spay.
