**Andie will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills, Pennington, NJ, over the Dec 15-17 weekend.**

Andie was found on the side of an interstate along with an adult female dog. It was clear that these two were discarded along the highway as there were no houses anywhere around from which they could have simply wandered away from. Since Andie was trying to nurse from the adult dog, we assumed that this was mother and daughter. Later it was learned that the adult dog was, in fact, pregnant so there's no way that Andie was her puppy. Maybe this dog and puppy came from the same home, maybe they met up while homeless...we may never know how or when these two first met, we just know that both apparently helped the other survive. 

Andie, as expected gets along very well with other dogs and puppies. She is more so on the submissive side but not timid and holds her own ground when playing with other pups. Still, when given the option, she'd rather cuddle with humans than play with her kennel mate.

Andie definitely appears to have Shepherd in her mix and looks to eventually be a large dog. She is also healthy and happy, having received 2/3 of her first year puppy vaccinations (as of Dec 10). She's also been wormed, treated against parasites, tapeworms and started on her monthly preventatives. She's still a few weeks away from being old enough to receive her rabies vaccination and her adopter will have to agree to having her spay at 6 months, providing SoCo with verification of such.
