Adeline and her litter mates were all owner surrenders. There were 9 puppies in the litter and Adeline was the only cream colored pup of the bunch. 

Adeline is very well socialized towards people and very playful. She also gets along great with other pups and thoroughly enjoys her playtime with her siblings. We're not exactly sure of her breed mix as we never got to see her mom or dad and are only assuming that she is some sort of terrier mix. We were told that her mom was a "medium-sized" dog.

Adeline's litter was named after successful people from the Gilded Age (the 1800's). Adeline was named after Adeline Hornbek, a strong, determined woman and mother of four children in the 1870s. Claiming land under the Homestead Act, Adeline Hornbek defied traditional gender roles to become the owner of a prosperous Colorado ranch during a time when women didn't typically own land. 

As of Dec 8, Adeline has received 2/3 of her first year puppy vaccines, wormed, treated against parasites and started on her monthly heart worm preventatives. She's still a few weeks away from being old enough to receive her rabies vaccine. Her adopter must agree to having her spay at 6 months of age and providing proof of such to our rescue. A microchip will accompany her adoption.
