HAZEL HAS A HOME!!! A wonderful loving woman and her sister fell in love with this gal! Being very fond of Rottweilers, the sisters decided hazel is the one who should benefit from all their love and devotion!!! CONGRATS HAZEL!!! HAZEL'S STORY Hazel is a comic, so we thought she deserved a name with lots of character! We discovered Hazel on a county road that was being resurfaced with hot tar. The more the road crew tried to shoo her off the road, she more she grinned, dancing and wagging her way around the freshly tarred pavement! Hazel was alarmingly thin when we coaxed her into our car that day in late January (07), and it’s taken a vitamin rich diet to put some weigh on her. However her coat remains shiny, her eyes clear and bright and her spirit is high. Hazel is robust, lively and loves to play. She shows amazing respect around people, including children. We’ve temperament tested her with children of all ages, as well as various adults – and she is respectful and polite. However she does bark at other dogs. Although she’s not inflicted harmed any dogs since we've known her, the fact that she is a large Rottweiler tends to send other dogs running before anything can happen! To be safe, Hazel should be adopted as an only dog, or kept separately from other family pets. She craves time with humans and deserves a true human companion in order for her to thrive and show her potential.
