**Olive is being fostered in Pennington, NJ and available for adoption in the NJ area**

It's kind of ironic that Olive and another female dog (her mom, we presume) decided to seek shelter at a women's rehab facility in our area. While the staff and residents of the facility gave Olive and Butter a lot of love and care, the facility's policy prohibits dogs from being on the property so they asked SoCo for help. The pair of dogs were at the facility for 2-3 weeks before a spot opened up at our rescue and luckily we were able to get them in just before hurricane Irma hit our area. 

Olive has the head and body of a Yellow Lab but with short, little legs. She is very sweet and affectionate towards people, never showing any signs of aggression towards them at all. She will growl at a "strange" dog but seems to adore the puppies that we have.  She is great with other dogs, doesn't really care one way or another.  She just wants to be loved by her people! Olive was recently in a home that included a cat and coexisted perfectly with the cat.

During her time with us, Olive hasn't relieved herself inside her kennel, instead waits until she gets to go outside to do so and she walks excellent on a leash. These two traits lead us to believe she's lived as an inside dog in the recent past.  

Olive has been fully vetted and even recently tested negative for heart worms. She appears to be in excellent health. We've estimated her age to be between 1 1/2-2 years and she only weighs approx 35 lbs.
