**Donatello will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills, in Pennington, NJ, over the Sept 8-10 weekend.**

A local woman found herself in a predicament and reluctantly had to surrender her beloved dog and her new born pups to our rescue. We have already found a home for the mom dog and now the puppies are ready to find their new homes. From that litter of Dachshund/Chihuahua mix pups comes Donatello.

Mazie, the pup's mom, was approx 20 lbs full grown, had a very sweet nature about her and her pups seem to be following in her footsteps in regards to size and personality.

Despite being one of the smallest of his litter mates, Donatello is the "alpha" among his siblings. He is very sweet and loving but has that typical Dachshund personality when it comes to trying to be dominate. He gets along great and plays well with his siblings but does seem to have a bit of food aggression around them. Still, he should make a great addition to a family as he is very people friendly

Donatello has now received all of his first year puppy vaccines, Bordetello and rabies vaccinations. He's been wormed, treated against parasites and tapeworms as a precautionary measure and started on his monthly flea/tick and heart worm preventatives. His adopter will have to agree to having him neutered at 6 months of age and providing proof of such to our rescue.
