**Mazie will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills, located in Pennington, NJ,  over the Aug 18-20 weekend**

Mazie came to SoCo Rescue after her former owner had to move and could not take Mazie with her. While the young lady was heartbroken in having to give Mazie up, she did find some comfort in knowing that we would work hard to find this precious girl a great, new home. Mazie also came with 5 newborn pups, which will be ready for adoption very soon.

Mazie has been in a foster home since being surrendered to us. During that time Mazie has done very well with her house training. She's gotten along great with the foster's other dogs and cats, never showing any aggressive behavior but can be a little reserved when first meeting someone. But give her a treat, belly rub or just a few minutes and she becomes very open and friendly. 

Mazie has now been spay, had all of her vaccinations renewed and even tested negative for heart worms on Aug 11, 2017. She's been kept on her monthly flea/tick and heart worm preventatives and appears to be very healthy.
