**Tanner will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills, Pennington, NJ, over the Aug 18-20 weekend**

After both the electricity and water were shut off at their home, a young Glenwood couple decided to go stay with a friend where they would be more comfortable. Problem is, they left behind all of their dogs, which included 15 very young puppies who were barely over a month old at the time. By the time we were permitted to rescue the pups, one had been given away and the other 14 were so full of worms and parasites that two of them passed away within a day’s time. From the remaining 12 pups comes this fellow, who we’ve named Tanner.

Tanner is the largest male and one of the friendliest of the litter. He’s playful, very people friendly and very active. He gets along great with the other pups in his litter  If the size of his parents are any indication, Tanner will grow to be a large dog, weighing approx 60-70 lbs.

As of Aug 8 Tanner has received his rabies, bordetella and 2 of 3 of his first year puppy vaccines. He's also been de-wormed on two occasions, treated against parasites and tapeworms. We’ve given him a Bravecto, which is a 3 month flea/tick preventative, and started him on his monthly heart worm preventative. Tanner's adopter must agree to having him neutered once he reaches 6 months of age and provide proof of such to our rescue.
