**Parker is currently being fostered in the Pennington, NJ area.  His foster mom is working on his confidence & housetraining.  He's doing great & she just loves him**

Parker was among a group of dogs and puppies that came to us from a "backyard" breeder. The conditions he was forced to live in was horrible, to say the least: filthy living area; dirty, algae filled water bowl and overcrowded kennel space. But the most appalling thing about his former home was the lack of human interaction that this sweet fellow was given.

Parker made it through his former home without acquiring any health issues but the omission of proper human contact and living in a small kennel with 9 other dogs has left him a bit timid. Prior to being rescued by SoCo and when we'd visit him, his owner would often have him confined to a crate within the kennel, greatly limiting him space to run and play. When he first arrived at SoCo and was allowed to run and play in our spacious yard, you'd thought this mild-mannered little fellow had won the lottery!

Despite his former life, Parker is still a wonderful dog with no aggressive behaviors. He is submissive towards people, taking his time to fully trust someone, but he simply loves being around other dogs. We think a home without small children would be best in helping Parker adjust to new people and surroundings

Parker has been fully vetted, is heart worm free and received a clean bill of health from our vet's office. He will need some work on his house and leash training
