**Widget is scheduled to attend our upcoming adoption event at Rosedale Mills, Penning, NJ over the June 16-19 weekend.**

Widget spent the first 5 months of her life trapped at the home of an unlicensed breeder where she was forced to live in a small kennel with 9 other dogs. The inside of this kennel was nasty with waste, dirty water and food bowls and very little area for her to run and play. It was also wrapped completely with tarps so Widget and her kennel mates most likely didn't even know of the world outside their horrible prison.  

But Widget's first day at SoCo brought to light that the world is much bigger than she's ever known! Not only did she get to enjoy running and playing in a big yard, she enjoyed eating good dog food, drinking clean water and being loved on by people who saw her worth as much more than just a potential money maker for them. 

 Widget is now enjoying her life and looking forward to the time she can call a house her own home. Her great personality makes her an ideal candidate as a family companion. We've already had her spay, updated all of her vaccines/wormings and even started her on  monthly flea/tick/heart worm preventatives. She'll need some house and leash training but should do well with some understanding and patience
