**Belle will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills over the May 19-21 weekend**

If you're looking for a near perfect Hound breed, then Belle is your choice! She's not only people and dog friendly, she also seems to have had some sort of tracking training or it just comes to her naturally.

Belle was once a stray and given a home by a very nice lady. But due to events beyond the woman's control, she had to surrender Belle to our rescue. And from the moment that Belle came to us, she has exhibited a very friendly and highly intelligent personality. She may take a few minutes to become trusting of another dog but sheds her inhibitions quickly once she realizes that the other dog is of no danger to her. 

Belle was recently spay, has had all of her yearly vaccines updated and completed her wormings and parasite prevention. She did test positive for heart worms, but our vet thinks that her level of heart worms is so "slight" that he wouldn't recommend putting Belle through the rigors of the full blown treatment. His recommendation is to simply keep Belle on a monthly preventative, have her retested in 6 months and expects her to test negative by that time.
