Lily came to SoCo as an owner surrender. She had been with her former family for most of her life but after she nipped at a young child, she was regulated to living outdoors. She would mainly stay in the crawl space at her former home in an attempt to be closer to the voices from within. During her time outdoors and mostly alone, Lilly became scared and very apprehensive towards new people.

In no time, Lilly shed her fear of people and now simply wants to be near them. And she loves to play! She’s one of the sweetest dogs we’ve ever encountered and will make a great companion for a retired/senior person. Because of the nipping incident, we’d not recommend small children in the home with Lilly. She’s not aggressive and the nipping incident was mostly out of fear.

Lilly has now been spay, received an update on all of her vaccines and has been wormed. She recently tested negative for heart worms and has been started on a monthly heart worm preventative. She also shows some house training abilities.
