Bubbles was found a s a stray puppy when she was just 5 weeks old. With an epidemic of unwanted litters in our area, the dumping of young puppies isn’t uncommon in our area. Being forced to live on her own at such a young age definitely put Bubble’s life in danger. Her health was definitely affected as when she was found, Bubbles had a case of mange.

But Bubbles has made great progress since coming to SoCo. She’s now been treated for mange and is in the process of regrowing her fur. She’s also received 2/3 of her first year vaccines with the final one due on March 18 then once yearly. She’ll need to receive her rabies vaccine after 12 weeks of age and spay by the time she reaches 6 months. She has also been wormed, treated against parasites and started on a monthly heart worm preventative. A microchip will accompany her adoption.

Bubbles is very friendly and well socialized towards humans. She loves to ply with other dogs and has exhibited a keen sense for learning new things. She will need some basic training but should do well with proper guidance.
