***Tawny is scheduled to appear at our upcoming adoption event at Rosedale Mills, in Pennington, NJ, over the Jan 27-29 weekend.***

Tawny came to SoCo Rescue along with her two canine friends after her former owner, a breeder, surrendered them to us. Despite receiving proper care while with their former owner, the three were extremely apprehensive towards humans. 

Tawny's fear of people is slowly dissipating and she's starting to enjoy being a puppy. She recently realized what doggie toys were and can be caught playing with them when she thinks no one is looking!  She will also bark at strange dogs but has shown to be very playful with other dogs.

Tawny has never shown any aggressive behavior other than barking but her ideal home shouldn't include small children or a lot of commotion. With love and a little patience, Tawny will become a wonderful, loyal companion for someone.
