Jake came to us after we were asked by our local vet to go and check on him.  Jake lived down the street from the vet along with 14 other dogs.  All were tethered on a chain and had only a dog house for protection from the weather.  Though the woman who took in all these dogs had her heart in the right place, she did not have the means to care for them.  When Jake first came to SoCo he suffered a bad snake bite in the face.  His poor face was so swollen it was almost the size of a basketball.  We took Jake to the vet and fortunately he healed rather quickly.  Jake is a very friendly boy who loves attention.  He's got lots of energy and loves to run and play.  Jake would make a great addition to just about any family.

As of 8/30/16 it's estimated Jake is 3-4 years old.  He's current on all his vaccinations- DHLPP, Rabies & Bordetella, and he is neutered.  Jake is a bright boy but may need a refresher course in house breaking.  If interested in this lovable guy please submit an application to www.socorescue.com.
