This handsome little Lab mix is Alfred, who came to our rescue after being found abandoned at one of the local dumpster sites in our area. Covered in fleas and a bit underweight, Alfred still exhibited a love for life despite his rough start. How anyone could simply leave this friendly pup all alone to survive on his own is a mystery to us all.

Alfred has a constant bubbly and friendly personality. There always seems to be a smile on his face and his tail always seems to be wagging. He does well when playing with other pups but does seem to be a bit persistent in his attempts to have fun, which can be a bit too much for some pups. Alfred will do very well with another dog that has a high energy level and isn't afraid of playing hard.

Alfred is accustomed to being crated at night and his intelligence level seems to indicate he will adapt to other basic training quickly. At approximately 14 weeks of age, as of 8/5/16, Alfred has already received 2/3 of his first year puppy vaccines as well as his rabies and bordetella vaccinations. His wormings and parasite prevention treatments has also already been administered and he's been started on a monthly flea, tick and heart worm preventative. His adopter must agree to having him neutered at the appropriate age (6-7 months) and supplying our rescue with proof of such. A microchip will accompany his adoption.
